Joint research on organic farming systems

The EU has adopted ambitions targets to increase organic production as part of the European Green Deal indicated in the Farm to Fork and Biodiversity Strategies. In order to support joint, transnational knowledge development for this target the CORE Organic Cofund has launched its 3^rd Call on ‘Organic farming systems for improved mixed plant and animal production’. It addresses three subtopics:

Sub-topic 1: Robust and resilient mixed animal farming systems
Sub-topic 2: Support for robust and resilient crop production systems
Sub-topic 3: Eco-efficient production and use of animal feed at local level

Funding partners from 13 countries (BG, DE, DK, DZ, EE, FI, IT, MA, NO, PL, RO, SI and TR) have raised an indicative budget of around EUR 5 million. The closing date for this call is the 8^th of March.
