New Scientific and Stakeholder Advisory Board chairs for JPI HDHL

The Joint Programming Initiative ‘A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life’ starts 2019 with a new chair for both its Advisory Boards. Wageningen-based prof. dr. ir. Edith Feskens, professor in Nutrition and Health over the Life course, will take over the chair of the Scientific Advisory Board from professor Helene Roche (University College Dublin). Professor Feskens will be supported in her role as chair by two new vice-chairs, Stephan Bisschoff of the University of Hohenheim and Peter Eisner of the Fraunhofer Institute.

JPI HDHL’s Stakeholder Advisory Board also welcomes a new chair: Laura Fernandez, director of the European Food Information Council (EUFIC). She will be supported by current vice-chair Miguel Leon-Sanz of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) and new vice-chair Christopher Birt of The European Public Heath Association (EUPHA).
