New participatory hub for the Mediterranean area upcoming
The long-term Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA), announced the selection of a project for funding under their Nexus 2019 Call. The overall objective of this call was to develop and disseminate an interactive platform of best practices in the Mediterranean area that should support stakeholders from public, private and civil society sectors. The platform should summarising existing best practices from a range of projects (e.g. including those funded through FP7, H2020 and ERA-NETs) relevant for the PRIMA priorities. Identified best practices and the interactive platform should include information on a wide array of features, such as existing tools and practices, governance models infrastructure, and standards that will enable a faster implementation of solutions. The maximum amount of funding available is EUR 3.2 million. The ‘participatory hub for effective mapping, acceleration and capitalisation of EU-MPC NEXUS best practices’ was selected. Eight countries participate in the hub, which is coordinated by Spain.
