New Implementation Plan for HDHL

Corresponding with the recently published 3rd edition’ Strategic Research Agenda, the Joint Programming Initiative ‘A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life’ (HDHL), launched their 2019-2021 Implementation Plan. It has been developed as a joint effort of the Management Board, Scientific and Shareholders Advisory Board and the supporting partners responsible for this task. The Implementation Plan translates the objectives of the SRA into tangible targets. In addition to ‘classic’ funding actions like joint calls, the JPI works with new instruments such as a Knowledge Hub. The Implementation Plan also contains non-funding activities to strengthen collaboration between HDHL and the European Commission, with other JPIs and with their stakeholders. Implementation of the activities and actions requires commitment and dedication of all involved partners within and outside of JPI HDHL and activities will be performed in close collaboration with policy makers, (health) professionals and other end users of food, nutrition & health research investments.
