Mediterranean partnership PRIMA opens new set of opportunities for joint research

The long-term Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area aims to devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth. It supports joint, transnational research in Mediterranean areas, focussing on three themes: management of water, farming system and agro-food value chain. 2019 starts will open calls for joint research in two sections. Section one is thematically organised, raising a total budget of EUR 28 million. Section two is an open call, with a budget of EUR 34.9 million.

Closing date for pre-proposals in section 1 is February 28th 2019
Closing date for pre-proposals in section 2 is February 21st 2019
