ERA-HDHL funds transnational research on nutrition and the epigenome
The second non-cofunded action under the HDHL-JPI ERA-NET Cofund ERA-HDHL aims to support transnational, collaborative research projects that gain a better understanding of the diet-epigenome relationships and their effect on human health. The call was launched in February 2018, bringing together funding fromthirteen funding organisations (including The Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development - ZonMw) in eleven countries involved in the joint programming initiative "A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life"(JPI HDHL). A total of 37 eligible full proposals were submitted in April. The Call Steering Committee selected six proposals, based on the ranking list provided by the Scientific Expert Committee. The selected proposals requested a total of EUR 6,8 million funding from the participating countries. The six researchers consortia are based in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, France and Canada. More information about the research projects will follow soon.
