Check out impact of the PLATFORM meta-network!
The Meta-network for public-to-public partnerships in the bioeconomy: PLATFORM, has run from 2012 until 2018. It has brought together European Research Area Networks (ERA-NETs) and other relevant public-to-public (P2P) networks in the area of the bioeconomy: food, agriculture, aquaculture, fisheries, forestry, climate, biodiversity and biotechnologies. Through its activities PLATFORM established a forum for funders and programme managers and players and has had a central role in facilitating and improving the coherence between the P2P networks active in the bioeconomy.
Though the project has finished in 2018; its results, activities and products are still available. Recently the PLATFORM website has been integrated into the jointprogramming website and soon the PLATFORM url will be taken offline. One of the major achievements is PLATFORM DB, a comprehensive database giving an overview of the P2P networks, their calls and funded research projects. The database showcases major achievements of the networks, that serves as a resource for its actors as well as policy makers, national programme managers and the science community. There is an ambition to keep this database updated untill the end of the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.
