Brainstorming workshop for implementation of the JPI-AMR strategic Research Agenda

JPI-AMR invited selected scientific experts of antimicrobial resistance and representatives of national funding agencies to participate in a brainstorming workshop in Brussels October 9th and 10th. The objective was to provide a list of potential joint activities that could be included in the roadmap for implementation of the JPI-AMR Strategic Research Agenda (SRA). Two independent groups of experts and funders discussed different subtopics of the six priorities Therapeutics, Diagnostics, Surveillance, Transmission, Environment and Intervention with the aim to generate suggestions for prioritized actions and instruments. The two groups agreed on a shortlist of themes for future calls and other actions that will be presented to the JPI-AMR Management Board for future decisions.
